Support Our Mission

Research and education are central to GIDAFS’s mission to strengthen financial transparency, financial security, and public governance. Support for this mission can help create opportunities to examine difficult regulatory questions and share knowledge across institutions.

We welcome conversations with individuals and organizations interested in supporting research, educational initiatives, or professional exchange.

Ways to Support

The Institute’s governing framework permits support through grants, charitable contributions, research funding, and institutional partnerships. Support may be directed toward the Institute’s mission or an agreed research or educational purpose.

If you are considering a grant or designated contribution, contact us to discuss the proposed objective, funding conditions, and reporting expectations.

Use of Funds & Accountability

The governing document requires the Institute’s funds to be used for its statutory purposes, including research, education, analytical work, international cooperation, and professional events.

Organizational income is not distributable to founders, members, or officers. Reasonable compensation for services actually rendered is permitted within the nonprofit framework.

Grant funding and designated contributions are subject to their agreed purposes and applicable accounting and reporting requirements. The Board of Directors oversees the use of resources.

Governance & Transparency

Support and Independence

Independence, integrity, and accountability are principles of the Institute’s governance. Decisions about funding must remain consistent with its mission and the requirements for identifying and addressing conflicts of interest.

Research and educational objectives provide the basis for discussions with prospective supporters.

Discuss a Contribution

Please contact GIDAFS before arranging a contribution so that we can clarify the intended purpose, available arrangements, and relevant documentation.

For a proposed grant or institutional contribution, include a brief description of the funding opportunity, eligibility requirements, expected timeframe, and any reporting conditions.
