Who We Seek to Work With

The Institute’s cooperation framework includes universities, research institutions, professional associations, civil society organizations, public authorities, and international institutions.

Collaboration may also involve financial sector professionals and organizations with relevant expertise. A proposed collaboration should reflect the Institute’s mission, available capacity, and the responsibilities of the participants.

Joint Projects & Initiatives

Potential joint initiatives include a comparative study of regulatory systems, a research project on financial risk, an educational program, or an expert discussion of emerging technology. The appropriate format depends on the question, the intended audience, and the contribution of each participant.

We welcome proposals that identify a practical research or educational need and explain how cooperation could address it.

International Cooperation

GIDAFS’s international orientation supports the exchange of knowledge across legal systems and financial markets. Areas of interest include the relevance of international approaches to the United States and the adaptation of institutional models in economies in transition.

Joint work should account for the legal, economic, and institutional context in which its findings may be used.

Principles for Collaboration

Our governing framework places cooperation within the Institute’s nonprofit mission and its principles of independence, transparency, and integrity. Potential conflicts of interest must be addressed as part of institutional decision-making.

The scope of a collaboration should be clear about its objectives, the roles of the participants, and the intended research or educational contribution.
