Recognizing Professional and Research Contributions
GIDAFS’s governing framework authorizes awards and other forms of recognition for outstanding achievements related to its mission. Recognition may concern individuals, organizations, public bodies, research teams, and other contributors.
Fields of Recognition
The scope includes finance, financial security, digital assets, artificial intelligence, public governance, regulatory policy, accounting, audit, compliance, financial crime prevention, and insurance.
A specific award should identify the contribution being recognized and the evidence on which the decision is based.
Award Programs
The governing document permits international, national, and industry awards, prizes, honors, competitions, and recognition programs. The title, scope, eligibility, and timetable of each program depend on its approved rules.
Selection and Integrity
The Institute may establish award committees, expert councils, and selection commissions. The composition and responsibilities of these bodies depend on the program concerned.
Recognition decisions must be considered within the Institute’s principles of independence, integrity, and avoidance of conflicts of interest.
Nomination Inquiries
Please contact GIDAFS to ask about recognition programs and whether nominations are being accepted. Include the field of contribution and a brief description of the achievement you would like to discuss.
An inquiry or nomination does not itself establish eligibility or guarantee recognition.

Fellowship
The Institute’s framework also provides for fellowship titles as a distinct form of academic and professional recognition.
